Thomas Fuchs Creative

Thomas Fuchs Creative Home Decor done best. Set the table with our dinnerware, pour yourself a happy hour drink in to one Art—is his passion.

Art—in all of its infinite forms—is the catalyst for what Thomas Fuchs does. He’s a furniture designer, creator of stunning Venetian glass, an avid painter…and so much more. And that passion passes on through his work. While training in fine arts at the Corcoran School of Art & Design, Fuchs developed a classical aesthetic with a modern twist that he incorporates into everything he does. Also, his

use of the “Golden Mean”—designing within a geometric construct that has proven to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye—has heavily informed his work. This twist on tradition, whether it’s creating chandeliers for a church in Aix-en-Provence and high-end department store Bergdorf Goodman, designing slightly sinister stemware based on the macabre hit “Dexter”, or showcasing various other projects in hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton in Miami, the Bellagio and Venetian in Las Vegas, has made Fuchs highly sought after by designers, architects, interior decorators, and a plethora of artisans. Thomas Fuchs is a creator constantly being inspired, creating work that is always inspiring.

Paris Design Week

Thomas Fuchs now takes his place among the distinguished artists who have collaborated with Daum, joining the lineage of visionaries such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, and Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. His work for the maison continues this tradition of surreal lyricism and poetic craftsmanship, bringing a new narrative energy to crystal.

Le Trésor Perdu — The Lost Treasure. The story begins… In the hush of the jungle, a panther steps from shadow, sleek and enigmatic, a guardian of the first secret. Born from the poem, Le Trésor Perdu, this candlestick is both light bearer and storyteller, whispering of beauty, fragility, and guardianship. For now, only the panther may be revealed. The next chapter waits behind winter’s veil in Paris this January, before the final unveiling in Milan next April. Three chapters, one treasure. And the legend has only just begun.

I have never had the honor of someone painting a portrait of me before… which is why this moment feels so emotional and deeply reflective. As a complete surprise, Thomas — who is graduating with his Masters in Painting — chose me as one of his final projects.

To sit there and realize that someone sees you through the lens of art is something I cannot fully put into words. It makes me reflect on how lucky we are in life when we lead with love, passion, and purpose… and how somehow the universe mirrors that energy back to us in the most unexpected ways.

For inspiration, Thomas referenced Dr. Pozzi at Home by John Singer Sargent — the iconic portrait of the famed Parisian gynecologist and collector Samuel-Jean Pozzi, wrapped in a dramatic crimson dressing gown with an almost cinematic elegance. The portrait, now part of the collection at the Hammer Museum, has always fascinated me for its richness, theatricality, and emotional depth.

Ironically the photograph he chose was of me in Paris when we were on trip and I happened to be wearing a white ruffle tuxedo shirt with red pants echoing the painting he used as inspiration proving inspiration lives deep in the subconscious!

To think that a work inspired by such an iconic painting became part of Thomas’s final Masters project makes this feel even more surreal and meaningful.

This portrait feels like more than paint on canvas. It feels like a reflection of soul purpose, of the journey we are on, of where we are going, and of the quiet wishes we hold inside are always fulfilled .

A reminder that when you live authentically and create from the heart, life has a beautiful way of giving you moments you never even knew to dream of. ✨
