was one of my first friends when I moved to CT, she was my neighbor, and a fellow interior designer. It’s not often that I truly befriend another interior designer… I’m sure it’s because we all are so manically busy with our projects. Only other designers know how much hard work we put into our projects on a daily basis! I found a friend who understood this side of me and I understood hers. We both shared laughs over our crazy attention and eye for details, our long to do lists and designer war stories of the week… she matched and understood my high level of work standards and it felt so good to totally feel seen and actually understood. We of course also bonded over Real Housewives, gossiping and cocktails on our roof. She loved telling me all about her 2 amazing and beautiful daughters and I can only hope that I’ll have such a close bond with my daughter someday. My heart hurts knowing I’ll never see you again… but I can’t wait to catch up with you in heaven over a cocktail… it will be the most hilarious yenta session ever!

So to my friends and followers, I wanted to share with you what an amazing friend I lost, but also wanted to pay tribute to the incredibly talented and hard working interior designer that Lisa Friedman was. These are photos of her beautiful work, the last picture, I think and know was her best.

Rest in peace Lisa, I love you!

Dreaming in Teal! When I started on this project my clients told me they wanted, “art deco, bold colors, no neutrals and lots of pattern!” I’m so thankful that they trusted me in creating a beautiful and exciting design for their NoMad pied-à-terre. Check out this beautiful custom armoire cabinet that I designed for the primary bedroom of my Art Deco project in NYC! I’m so happy that I was able to deliver and incorporate a vanity space for my client! Thank you for making my vision come to life! Top quality all the way!!!

What I Love Wednesday!
This week I am really loving these items, and they happen to look incredible together! It wasn’t my intention to build a room, but once I started selecting items I wanted to share… well, the designer in me took over!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely ! So today I went to her website to check out her STUNNING collection and I am still in complete awe! Every detail she puts into her pieces is just perfection to me! I selected her ‘Black Orchid Console’ to share with you today. I love the rich bordeaux color she used to match the oak wood top to the leather sides and drawer fronts. The metal work is just exquisite, from the shagreen cast pulls to the sexy bronze art deco inspired legs. This Console table is a home run for me!
I LOVE the frame on this Bahati Chair from ! When I saw it in person, I knew I had to add this to my list.
When my good friend Howard Williams of (THE BEST antique lighting and furniture showrooms in NYC!) brought in this ‘Monumental Minimalist 6-Arm Oil Rubbed Bronze Cylindrical Form Chandelier’… I have been day dreaming of being able to source it for the perfect project!
I just love every iteration of the Median light collection by ! The soft and sexy glow that bleeds into the alabaster discs paired with the fluted brass base, just hits so right! LOVE!
When I saw this new wallcovering collection by , I gasped… It’s just SO GOOD! The Parosol Stitch wallcovering is available in 4 different color ways, and is a stunner in each of them! I can’t wait to use it!
Lastly, but certainly not least… this GORGEOUS Rothko inspired rug by will haunt me until I purchase it! It is just amazing!!!

Motivation Monday: I am loving this bedroom design by the incredibly talented ! This is monochromatic done beautifully and what I love about a design like this is how you can appreciate a pop of color so much more. 💜Bravo David!💜 Lucky to have you as a friend!
