16 years ago, I taught a single cooking class out of my old Brooklyn apartment. "The Workshop" was unlike other cooking classes, both in its set up and content. It put Purple Kale Kitchenworks in the media spotlight, guided publication of my first cookbook, and in no small way changed my life.
I retired the workshop years ago, as my class and event schedules grew. Last year I brought it back, but in slimmer form.
