Our Story

Remains Lighting designs and manufactures its exclusive collection of custom and made to order lighting fixtures in its own Brooklyn factory. The wide range of offerings includes vintage and new exterior and interior chandeliers, sconces, lanterns, pendants, mirrors, lamps, mirrors, fireplace tools and accessories.

Founded in 1996, Remains Lighting has evolved from an off-the-beaten-path antique resource to a world-class maker of artisan and bespoke lighting fixtures and mirrors. Remains Lighting fixtures are of the highest quality and craftsmanship, each one made by hand to order in our LEED Gold certified factory in Brooklyn, NY by a team of artisans and engineers using luxe materials and traditional metalworking skills.

In addition to designs by owner David Calligeros, Remains also manufactures the lighting collections of designers Tony Duquette, Alan Wanzenberg, Robert AM Stern Architects and Commune Design and represents Rosie Li and Scofield Lighting with showrooms in New York, Greenwich CT, Chicago and Los Angeles.
