Not every renovation calls for a full gut.

In this attic bathroom, we kept the existing vanity but gave it new life with paint and a fresh countertop—proof that small, intentional updates can have a big impact.

By reducing the size of the mirror, we were able to introduce a proper sconce and carve out space for art, bringing warmth and personality into what was once a purely utilitarian space.

As the gray days of late winter linger, we find ourselves thinking ahead to summer gatherings in this room.

Once an underutilized sunroom, this space was reimagined as a four-season room designed for entertaining year-round.

A double-sided fireplace brings warmth to cooler months, while a double-sided bar serves both the interior and the pool beyond—making summer hosting feel effortless.

These are the whiteouts we prefer. ❄️ 🤍
Thoughtful design does not rely on color to make an impact. An all-white bed, tailored cabinetry, and Carrara marble remain timeless for a reason.

We transformed a dark, utilitarian space into one that feels calm, bright, and welcoming. The existing vanity was repurposed with a fresh paint color — proving that thoughtful updates can make a meaningful impact.

Colorful materials, improved lighting, and a radiant heated floor help the space feel intentional and connected to the rest of the home.

Quiet, practical changes that make daily life better.

A family bathroom designed to keep up with daily life. As the home’s only (indoor) shower, this space works hard—getting a busy family of four out the door and down to the docks for sailing.

The first Monday of the new year feels like the unofficial start—a gentle nudge to be more present here. More projects, more process, more of what we love. So here we go.

By removing an unnecessary vestibule and closet, reorienting the entry, and introducing a set of double doors, this laundry room was allowed to fully open and function as part of the home rather than an afterthought. With square footage borrowed for the adjacent primary bath, storage needed to work harder—every cabinet here is intentional.

Galbraith & Paul wallpaper discreetly conceals the electrical panel while bringing pattern and color into the space. Durable surfaces throughout ensure this room can handle the daily rhythm of a family of six, plus two dogs.

This part of the living room always felt a bit disconnected, so we focused on making it feel intentional. New cabinet doors and a cleaner radiator cover gave the millwork a fresh start, a linen Roman shade adds softness and privacy, and a wool rug helps ground this space. The chairs move depending on how the room is used — a flexible setup that still offers a quiet spot to read.
