SHIRLEY TEMPLE AND THE MILITARY SERVICEMAN WHO STOLE HER HEART....Here's Shirley Temple and John Agar, celebrating their engagement in the 1940s. During World War II, John served in the United States Army Air Corps, mostly at the March Field in Riverside, California, serving as a physical fitness instructor. He was a sergeant at the time he left the AAF in 1946. They had a child together who was born in 1948.
