I feel a deep love for this doork**b. Cannot wait to feel it in my hand each and every time I open the closet in my office. The tactile nature of hardware in your home cannot be overlooked. Yes, hardware should be visually appealing, but you also interact with it physically and you should enjoy that moment. The way a k**b, pull, or handrail on your stairs FEELS matters. Let the next project begin! Seven months after purchasing our new home we have finally found time to begin construction! Left the littlest employee in the warm detached guest house, which is now my office, while we toured the freezing job site. He picked out colors for his room. Interested to hear which of the dark colors he has in mind.

Despite the fact that we are taking flight and leaving the Nest, I can’t stop working on the garden and buying plants. It seems that the next chicks to be occupying this particular nest will be a pair of little girls! In honor of their arrival, I bought pink flowering sedum and purple flowering thyme for the pond. I hope they love it here and create joyous memories in this magical garden.
