Working out of her home studio, she experiments with new materials and forms, expanding her practice to include tables and some of her most notable works: mirrors.
‘I was an art handler for years,
and at one point, when I was 37 weeks pregnant with my first child, I found myself standing at the top
of a ladder, moving art around at 10 p.m. and remember thinking, “I can’t do this anymore.”’
Morgan’s breakthrough piece was the “Stretch Vase.” To her surprise, orders soon began coming in from showrooms and stores across Australia, Japan, London, Korea, and France.
This “Peckmania” caught the attention of the broader design milieu, most notably designer Kelly Wearstler.
Wearstler first commissioned Peck in 2015 for her space at Bergdorf Goodman in New York, where Morgan created sculptures and small mirrors.
Their collaboration later expanded to 58 mirrors for a furnished residence project in Hollywood, bringing Morgan’s work to a broader design audience.
Today, her practice continues to expand beyond vessels and mirrors. We’re currently showing her newest works: mosaic ceramic coffee and side tables, bringing her distinct approach to form and material into furniture.
