Sharing a few of the beautiful Monet Cardis that were knit by Spring 2025 knitalong participants. I love this pattern styled casually with jeans or a pair of shorts or elevated with a dress for a night out. It’s the perfect light layer for throwing on when you’re in and out of air conditioning and the special yarn, Waterfall, really gets a chance to shine.

Life lately ~ all the WIPs and the usual end of school year madness. I’m equal parts excited for the summer and some free time and so sad that pre K, 4th and 6th grades are over. Time, please slow down!

Tomorrow over on YouTube I’m going to take you behind the scenes and share more about all of these projects. I had a lot of fun creating this episode and can’t wait to share it with you 🙏

It is true that many are perplexed when I tell them I’m a yarn designer, I definitely did not know it was a thing until I was older….and I’m so happy and grateful it is a thing.

My Kaleidoscope Kids Cardi is done and ready for blocking. I made it in about a week and a half. It knits up that fast but all the end of year school assemblies have helped me squeeze in extra time too! Pattern available on our site. I used a mix of all of our yarns from my extensive stash 😅 as you do!

The pattern is sized for ages 4-12 year olds and just like the adult sized patterns, there is no wrong way to mix and combine yarns here as you can so clearly see in these gorgeous samples!

Meet the embroidered Kaleidoscope sweater. It’s the same base pattern as the short sleeve kaleidoscope sweater, but this time with embroidery using our Wildflower cotton fabric yarn. This is one of my favorite versions for spring and summer and you could follow the motifs that we did on our samples or of course, do your own thing. I still remember frantically embroidering these samples at 4 am the day of our spring photoshoot a few years back 😅

Available in both short and long sleeve options, this yoke style sweater is worked top down seamlessly in the round, with optional waist shaping to create a slight bell shape at the hem. Our yarn kits come with a step by step video class on how to knit this sweater from start to finish.

With these patterns, it’s all about getting into a creative flow state and mixing different yarn colors and textures in a way that lights you up! There is no right or wrong way to mix your yarns, colors and textures. It’s about having fun, feeling free and making something that brings you joy!
