Great memories! Loved doing this! It relaxed me I cannot explain the calm..it help me connect with hashem through prayer for everyone and it was yummy!

What puts you in a happy place?

As a mom I like easy and fast recipes, but tonight took a little time but super easy. I made my own vodka sauce. It was worth the extra hour, it was delicious and toddler approved 🙂

Ingredients:
1 white onion diced
1 stick of butter
2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
1 cup of vodka
1 pint of heavy cream
3 cloves of fresh garlic diced (optional)
Handful of mozzarella and parmigiana cheese (optional)

Directions:
Step 1- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and sauté until slightly brown and soft, 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 2- pour in vodka and let for 10 minutes. Mix in crushed tomatoes and cook for 30 minutes. Pour in
heavy cream and cook for another 30 minutes. I added a hand full of mozzarella cheese and parmigiana cheese during this step. Enjoy! 🙂

So as most of you know I am no longer selling challah and baked goods for quite some time. My life has changed into a different and very fulfilling direction with my growing family Baruch hashem ,Life in general with its ups and downs and my career in Real Estate ( my other passion..I get to help people)

Guess what? I still really love to bake. It is my therapy and relaxation! People think I am nuts that I love to be in the kitchen and it relaxes me (ok so i am a little nuts anyway). The other reason I love baking specifically challah is that it helps me connect with hashem in prayer and sharing that prayer with others as hashems gives us that opportunity to pray and ask for anything we need and want when praying over challah. So I decided that I would continue this page as a sharing page.
