I’m so in love with the outcome of this project. It’s elegant, functional, a reflection of my clients and seamlessly integrates with the architectural style of the home. I’m so grateful for my team for always bringing my design dreams to life so flawlessly, I couldn’t do any of this without you guys. Thank you for the 📷 capture! We have a few projects wrapping soon that I can’t wait to share with you all. In the meantime, thanks for following along! ❤️

Queen Emi, the newest member of our family. Sweet, chatty, strong, unfazed by our dog jumping in her face every chance he gets, unfazed by his massive jealousy that she’s now also getting our attention, utterly fabulous poser.
Hope you all have a focused, productive Friday and beautiful weekend ahead! ❤️

More than anything, I always want my clients homes to feel peaceful. I want them to have spots that feel like a hug, colors and textures that make them feel cozy and elements that inspire them. This looks different in every home, depending on who my clients are and the architecture, but it’s the value that never changes, no matter the landscape. Some want to play more with color, pattern, others want to be more neutral, some want to skew more traditional, some more modern, some a mix, but peaceful and warm are always key. ❤️

Throw back to our little NYC pad. It was so fun to have a place to land that was all our own, even if it only lasted a year! Who knows what the future holds. For now, I’m feeling very content in the country of Massachusetts on this beautiful, sunny, crisp day. Happy Monday everyone. ❤️

One of my favorite things to do is check out antique shops and auction houses and see what treasures I can find. I found this hand carved beauty a few weeks ago at auction and just got it back from the upholsterer. I am so happy with how it turned out. They just don’t make things like this anymore. I love mixing modern and traditional, new and old….these combinations make my little design heart skip a beat. Not sure where this baby will land, but had to share! 😍

We still have a few more weeks to go, and still a lot of big pieces to get in place, but today’s partial install at my CT project was the best!! Watching these design labs come to life never gets old and these clients are simply the best. The sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful people ever. I am so grateful! ❤️

Missing our little NYC pad today. There are so many different pieces of me that feel at home in different atmospheres. One huge part of me simply loves to travel and explore anywhere new. The ability to travel is one of the things I value most in life. I always find it interesting and very foreign when people really have no desire to go anywhere. I also find that level of contentment quite beautiful. A significant part of me feels so at peace driving past the open rolling hills and rivers of where I live, where life is slow, and kind and intentional and so down to earth and people know your name at the grocery store. It is not the place I was born to, but it has held us so supportively and beautifully for almost 15 years and it has become our home, the rhythm and pace we crave to come back to after a few days away. Another significant part of me feels so at home and alive in the hustle and bustle, up and down in subways, in and out of shops and restaurants and museums, with endless inspiration, and the ever present dirty stink of NYC, where nothing is ever the same. It is the place I know like the back of my hand and never feels foreign and I can hop on a short train ride to see my family. Some days I have a hard time reconciling how those two things can coexist so honestly inside of me because they are so very different. Humans are just a big beautiful blessed mess of interesting juxtapositions aren’t they? I think I’ll be booking myself a little weekend getaway this evening. ❤️. Hope you enjoy the rest of this beautiful Sunday!

Here are a few more snaps from my latest Brookline Reno, a 1924 brick Colonial. My clients had done a massive renovation when they moved in (maybe 10-ish years ago?) and realized soon after they were done that it lacked the soul and personality they really craved. They were introduced to me through a friend of theirs whose home I had recently finished and the rest is history. I’m so happy with how this home turned out, and maybe even more importantly my clients love it and it finally feels like them and how they always wished it would. I’m so grateful for how I continue to connect with such kind clients and I’m also ever grateful for my team at for always bringing my design dreams to life so flawlessly. A team! ❤️

A few more cozy slices from my recently photographed Brookline Reno project. This was an interesting project. My clients had purchased and renovated their home about 10 years ago. What they ended up with was a white box with no personality. They hired me to come in, and reimagine/refinish/change almost all of the kitchen, dining and living room, giving the home some soul. I’m so happy with how it turned out. For the living room we added all of these custom bookcases, resurfaced the fireplace surround with this amazing stone, repainted everything, and did all new decor. ❤️
