It was such an honor to be asked to create this piece.

My sister in law is in social work and requested a design that combined her love for bears with a mantra: “Coffee first, notes later.” ☕️🐻

Social workers carry so much for their communities. I hope this adds a bit of warmth to her new office and serves as a reminder that it’s okay to pause for a moment of comfort before diving into the “heart-work.”

New popular opinion - Chinese tea over coffee any day 🫖 Why the distinction? Basic black tea, earl grey, English breakfast, matcha and all the fruit flavored ones at the cafes and stores just don’t cut it.
Tea reminds me to slow down, to be intentional and to take my time. Being a New Yorker, I was born into the hustle and bustle, to live off doing all the things, packing in as much as I can and thriving in seeing how much I can squeeze in a day.
Motherhood (and age) has taught me to put that aside. This is the becoming of my 40’s where I learn my new norms. My younger self would be shocked but my future self is thanking me for finding the balance. Cheers to sipping tea 🍵

Gifting is my favorite way to say thank you, but I always want it to feel personal. After seeing Ron Lee’s segments and catching glimpses of his love for theater, I knew exactly what I wanted to create.

I designed a custom Playbill to celebrate his work at NY1 and his love for the arts.

Ever feel so passionate about something that you knew deep down you could do it? But then your inner voice creeps in with all the reasons and questions to hold you back - busy schedules, exhaustion from life and never feeling like you’re caught up and in the right time to start, fear of not having everything figured out, overwhelmed by the all the things you need to do and plan, the list goes on!
If you’ve been here or currently feeling this way, I’m right there with you. The last few months have felt this way for me as I work on building something for the kids of our future, my daughter, my younger self and my parents. I’m still here creating my art but this special project has taken most of my energies because I believe and care so deeply about it. I remind myself that if I give it my 100% as I’ve done for everyone who I’ve ever worked for, then I owe it to myself as well as past and future generations to work just as hard for them.
This is only the beginning, so here’s to having the courage to begin (imperfections and all) 💪

This piece was a bittersweet one to paint. My dear friend is closing her NYC chapter and heading to a new city. While the zip codes are changing, our connection is a constant.

I’ve realized that the true joy in these home portraits isn’t just in the architecture; it’s in the connection. I get to capture a physical piece of the person’s story so they can carry it with them, no matter where the next chapter leads.

What I’ve been reminding myself lately.

Every intentional act is a stone dropped into a still pond. Our world is built on the ripple effect of our smallest daily choices. Move with intention by:

🔸Choosing kindness over convenience.
🔸Saying “Hello” or “Good Morning” first and smile.
🔸Holding the door for someone or allowing them to pass first while driving.

Let’s face the world today with the intention to build, to heal, and to connect. Small acts are never actually “small” when they help us rediscover our humanity.

How beautiful it is that we get to create magic. You and I know who Santa really is. It’s the person planning the holiday get together, getting the tree up & decorated, picking out the gifts, wrapping the gifts, baking Santa’s cookies, booking the holiday photoshoot, planning and getting all the holiday outfits, tickets to a holiday show or activity - the list can go on. It’s the little touches of magic sprinkled all month long. ✨Oh and let’s not forget making sure the kids are dressed for every holiday show, party and themed day at school 😮‍💨
As exhausting it is and can be, the excitement and wonder is worth it. There’s no greater gift than the pure joy that our magic brings. Give yourselves the credit you deserve for making it happen! Some holidays may be filled with more than others but it’s not what counts - it’s the moments you share together making the memories that do. So make them count, be present and take in that time together 💕

The walls may change, but the foundation of our memories never moves.💜 My friend recently said goodbye to the house that shaped her, the childhood home where countless firsts and treasured moments unfolded.
Knowing how hard it was to part with, I painted this custom home portrait as a small way to ensure those moments remain close to her heart, forever part of her story. May this painting be a constant reminder of the lifetime of love that lived here.
