The fruit of my week in Minneapolis with Flora nomad rug making. The variety of wool - Bergschaf, Karakul and Mongolian - just pops with texture and character. Iā€™m hooked! Finally diving deeper into felt rug making with the guidance of Flora and several years ago with Jo . Iā€™ve had some of my ā€œrugā€ wool for years just looking at and tucking it away again. Going all out now! This here is all Bergschaf using traditional Eastern European and Central Asian design motifs. Later this month I plan to use my Karakul wool stash for another attempt.
