ATTENTION TO THE LITTLE DETAILS IT'S WHAT GIVES A LUXURY FEEL!
I been doing a few touch ups in my own primary bathroom. I remodeled it about fifteen years ago in a luxury level. So, I decided to give a few things an upgrade. They were not functioning or looking tired.
I changed my pedestal sink that, had cracked. To a vanity sink with polished gold base. Added a matching polished gold drain. Covered a bad tile cut out around the drain with a new gold plate. Yes, I love me some gold! Haha! A new clean line comfort height toilet. (I'm getting old and my knees couldn't deal with the previous low toilet. Haha! Nor the dust that, would get into all the crevices on the base.), New crystal cabinetry k***s where installed. New polished gold shower head & matching hand held shower head. (The old ones had water stains on those tiny holes.)
, New thermostat for the radiant floor. (Old one stopped working towards the end of last winter), New motor for the exhaust fan was installed. (Old one stopped working a while back.), New medicine cabinet with built in LED surround lighting and mirror defogger on the way. (Old one the hinges are not working properly. Plus, the mirror finish was coming off around the edges.)
Furthermore, one can give an updated look by changing minor things around. And looking for solutions for things that may have been done wrong. By putting attention to minor details one can achieve a luxury level look & feel. For example making sure your toilet & sink water lines should match the rest of your bathroom fixtures. Adding radiant floor heating adds a luxury touch. Nothing beats your feet touching a warm floor during the winter months.
I'm glad that, I do all of my own work. And make sure that it's done right. The times that, I have hired people. I have ended up having to live with errors. Due to me not being able to be around to oversee their work. I learned my lesson. And no longer allow people to work on their own around my house.
