This year I set out to use only supplies that I still have in my "workshop" (aka the small craft corner in my two bedroom NYC apartment). I purchased these square chicken wire forms last year and was glad to finally use them and love the way they turned out! A little something new!

Yesterday at the market someone asked me what my favorite thing to make is and others asked if I have a favorite wreath. That can be a really tough question when you spend so much time on each item. But I'd have to say that I love when I can make one that looks as real as possible for use over the years. I do make wreaths with real greens from time to time and I'm always sad when it comes time to throw them away.

So, this year, I'd say that this one was my favorite (with my white tinsel a close second). Sold yesterday at the holiday market. It is always such a happy dance moment when someone takes one home! Thank you!!

And a shout out to my friend who found the natural items used on this wreath and shared with me!

Every year I find myself only able to manage one or two markets a year. I try really hard not to miss the holiday season, since that is prime wreath display/purchase time! This year, I was super excited to head to and it did not disappoint! A big thank you to the organizers for putting together such a lovely and eclectic group of vendors as well as a fantastic event for all!

Thank you to all the friendly new and familiar faces who came out in the cold to support little ol' me. And a huge thank you to those that helped me put it all together! Andrew, Chris, Molly, and Avery! And a big fat kiss to my rockstar of a friend, . Year after year, she makes the schlep to Queens to lug my set up around. She champions me and makes me feel like sharing my creations is worth it and something to be proud of. So grateful.

And hey, .blessitt , thanks for putting up with this silly adventure and for being such an amazing and supportive hubba! Xoxo

I could go on and on, but I can barely keep my eyes open. What a lovely and exhausting day. Check back tomorrow when I report back on what is left for you to purchase!

The last time I was with my dad before he passed away, we were on a trip to Nevada and got to go to an old school candy shop. It has always been one of my favorite places to be, full of lollipops, taffy, butterscotch, and those little strawberries with the powder in the middle. 🍭

When I am elbows deep in the busiest wreath season, I love to listen to Christmas music and it makes me think of him. We had this big sound system in our living room growing up with a tall, lattice covered speaker in each corner that would play all the classics.

This time of year can be bittersweet with beautiful memories of those that are no longer with us. I hope that you're able to tune into those little nods and hold them close. I know I am trying to do the same.

I didn't know that trypophobia existed until I began creating wreaths! A good friend of mine had quite a reaction to one of my wreaths that had lotus pods, just like this one! Trypophobia is an aversion to or fear of clusters of small holes or repetitive patterns. It can cause feelings of anxiety or disgust.

Who knew?!
