I had the honor of doing the flowers for the Eid Banquet 2026 in NYC, where I learned about this incredible female-owned, American-Palestinian Olive Oil company, . I want you to know about them, too:

Founded by a San Francisco and Los Angeles-based Palestinian mother-and-daughter duo whose family was uprooted from Palestine in 1969, YA ALBI is clear in its mission: they exist to offer the Palestinian diaspora a connection back to their homeland. It is a celebration of olive oil as a living link to Palestine. Made in the West Bank by farmers who are justly paid premium wages, each bottle tells a story, a tradition. Every pour is a daily remembrance of a cherished homeland, and more importantly an active act of Palestinian resistance.🕊️🫒🍶

Last year I did a whole quinceanera’s worth of flowers for a music video with someone called Bad Bunny. I was just trying to get home to my toddler, so I sent someone else to deliver it all on set. Im really kicking myself for that now. I know I’m late to the party, but what a great guy 😂
