This was such a fun one!
We worked directly with the .gallery and the artist to create a completely custom piece for my client, with every color chosen by her to work perfectly within the space. The texture, dimension, and movement in the artwork made it the focal point of the room.

What makes a space feel unique and personal comes down to the details.
Every piece in this room was thoughtfully chosen for these incredible clients. And the artwork..it was created by the homeowner, a local NJ artist — a detail that makes the space feel even more meaningful.

Homes like this come with so much character..the goal is to build on that, not fight it.
When you’re working in a home built in the 1800s, it’s all about finding the balance between honoring what’s there and making it feel comfortable for how it’s lived in today.
In these spaces, we leaned into deeper greens to bring warmth and depth, while still letting the original architecture do its thing.

Art is often one of the last layers in a project. But this amazing client has so much love for original artwork that we started many areas of the home with the art first.

Several incredibly talented artists are featured throughout these spaces, allowing the artwork to take the lead.

Designing for a client who values art this much brings a depth and personality to a home that simply can’t be replicated.
