She has been looking at me 👀 for 2 years wondering when I was going to finish her. 🫣 No time like the present. Looking forward to the day I wear a dress from this pattern. #8543

3 months late and I haven’t finished this garment 🫣. The last step is buttons and as I’ve never done it before. I said I would do it over the past weekend and then realized I didn’t have 15 matching buttons 🙄. Picked up a bag of mixed buttons hoping it would have enough of the same size - I was wrong. Then my marking pen didn’t work so my buttonholes aren’t evenly spaced. But I’m glad I worked on it because making button holes + buttonhole foot isn’t as scary anymore!

Excuse the messy workspace but I’m almost complete! Added additional fabric down the placket on both sides which changed the collar (not planned 🤪). All that’s left is buttons. 🥰 It’s rather long so I had to shorten it by 8 inches - I’m 5’5”
