🧁✨ Magical Butterbeer Cheesecake Recipe for Potter Fans ✨🧁
Calling all witches, wizards, and Muggles alike this creamy, dreamy Butterbeer Cheesecake is straight from the kitchens of Hogsmeade!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon butter extract
- 1 teaspoon rum extract (optional for extra Butterbeer magic)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butterscotch sauce, plus more for drizzling
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Gold sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tbsp brown sugar in a bowl. Press firmly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then cool.
3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 1 cup brown sugar and beat until creamy.
4. Mix in eggs one at a time. Then add vanilla, butter extract, and rum extract. Stir in heavy cream and 1/2 cup butterscotch sauce until fully combined.
5. Pour filling over crust. Place the pan in a water bath and bake for 60 minutes or until set. Cool completely, then refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
6. Before serving, top with whipped cream, a drizzle of butterscotch, and a sprinkle of gold magic.
