Classic Buttermilk Pancakes
Fluffy, golden pancakes that make every breakfast special.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 ¼ cups buttermilk
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps:
1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2. In another bowl, mix buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed.
4. Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat and pour ¼ cup batter for each pancake.
5. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
