๐ฅฉ๐ค Garlic Butter Steak & Shrimp with Herb Rice ๐๐ฅ
๐ฝ๏ธ Ingredients:
๐ For the Steak & Shrimp:
- ๐ฅฉ 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into cubes
- ๐ค 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ๐ง 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ๐ง 3 tbsp butter
- ๐ซ 2 tbsp olive oil
- ๐ง 1 tsp salt
- ๐ถ๏ธ 1/2 tsp black pepper
- ๐ฟ 1 tsp paprika
- ๐ 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ๐ฟ Chopped fresh chives (for garnish)
๐ For the Herb Rice:
- ๐ 1 cup basmati or jasmine rice
- ๐ง 2 tbsp butter
- ๐ง 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ๐ฟ 1 tsp dried oregano
- ๐ฟ 1/2 tsp turmeric (for color)
- ๐ง Salt and black pepper to taste
- ๐ฅ 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
๐ For the Roasted Peppers:
- ๐ถ๏ธ 1 cup diced red and yellow bell peppers
- ๐ซ 1 tbsp olive oil
- ๐ง Salt & pepper to taste
๐ฅ Directions:
1๏ธโฃ Cook the Rice
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Sautรฉ garlic until fragrant.
- Add rice, oregano, turmeric, salt, and broth. Cover and simmer until rice is fluffy.
2๏ธโฃ Sautรฉ the Peppers
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add bell peppers, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
3๏ธโฃ Cook the Steak & Shrimp
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steak cubes for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add butter and minced garlic. Toss in shrimp, seasoning with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Return steak to the pan, drizzle with lemon juice, and mix well.
4๏ธโฃ Serve & Enjoy
- Plate the steak and shrimp alongside herb rice and roasted peppers. Garnish with chives and enjoy!
