🔥🥩 Cajun Steak Tips in Cheesy Rigatoni Parmesan Sauce 🧄🧀
**Ingredients:**
*For the Cajun Steak Tips:*
* 1 1/2 lbs beef sirloin or ribeye, cut into bite-sized pieces
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
*For the Cheesy Rigatoni Sauce:*
* 12 oz rigatoni pasta
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 2 cups whole milk, warmed
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
* 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar (optional for extra creaminess)
* Salt and pepper, to taste
* Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
**Directions:**
1. **Cook the Pasta:**
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add rigatoni and cook until al dente according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. **Season and Cook the Steak Tips:**
In a bowl, toss steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak tips for about 2–3 minutes per side until browned and medium-rare to medium. Remove from skillet and cover to keep warm.
3. **Make the Cheese Sauce:**
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute to form a roux.
Slowly pour in the warm milk and heavy cream, whisking continuously until the sauce thickens—about 3–4 minutes.
4. **Add the Cheeses:**
Stir in Parmesan and cheddar cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. **Combine with Pasta:**
Toss the cooked rigatoni in the cheesy sauce until fully coated.
6. **Serve:**
Plate the cheesy rigatoni and top with Cajun steak tips. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.
