Healthy Cookies Without Sugar
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
2 cups oats
1/4 cup almond milk
1/4 cup raisins or chopped nuts
1 cup dark chocolate chunks (use a sugar-free brand like Lily's)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas and stir in the unsweetened applesauce until well combined.
Add the vanilla extract and ground cinnamon, mixing thoroughly.
Stir in the oats until the mixture is uniform.
Add almond milk to moisten the oats and mix in raisins or nuts along with the dark chocolate chunks.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheet and slightly flatten each cookie with the back of a spoon or your hand.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cookies are firm and lightly golden.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Once cooled, serve and enjoy these naturally sweetened, healthy cookies.
