I love sea shells and collect them for memories with a decorative touch. I started filling this canister in 2016. Two of my small granddaughters and I collected them from walks on the Florida beach. I have dates on many of them to convey a special time or memory when we picked them off the sand. It is a lovely way to create nostalgia and always so pretty to look at.

It has taken the corona virus to keep me in my Florida home! My family is hunkering down here where we feel safe and secure. It has become our sanctuary and we feel blessed to be here. I look around my home and the happy bright colors in the house make me feel better in this very trying time that we are all experiencing. How is your house working for you? Look around, see what needs changing. What changes, large or small would make you feel better about being in your home? Your home needs to be your sanctuary. You need to feel good there - happy and safe!

I have had the time to be in my house. I’ve moved furniture around which made the house even cozier – made other small changes. What have you done in your home?
