Healthy Peppermint Milkshake 🍃🍦
This refreshing peppermint milkshake is made with a creamy, dairy-free base and a touch of natural sweetness, all while keeping it healthy and vibrant in a lovely pink hue!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries (for a pink color)
- 1/2 frozen banana (adds creaminess)
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract (or more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to sweetness preference)
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt for vegan option)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional, for extra thickness)
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a blender, combine the almond milk, frozen strawberries, frozen banana, Greek yogurt, peppermint extract, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract.
2. Blend until smooth and creamy. If you want a thicker shake, add a few ice cubes and blend again.
3. Taste and adjust the sweetness or peppermint flavor if needed.
