Indulge in this creamy and decadent Boston Cream Pie Fudge that's just as irresistible as the classic dessert! 🍫✨
Ingredients:
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (yes, again!)
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Directions:
First things first, line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, letting some hang over the edges for easy removal later. In a saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips with one can of sweetened condensed milk. Stir it gently until it becomes a lovely smooth mixture. Once melted, take it off the heat and add in that luscious vanilla extract.
Spread half of this creamy goodness evenly into your prepared pan and pop it in the fridge for about 15 minutes to set it just a little bit. Reserve the rest of the mixture for later—trust me, you'll need it!
Now, in a medium bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix, milk, and powdered sugar until it reaches a smooth and thick consistency. Once ready, spread this custard layer evenly on top of your chilled vanilla fudge. Back to the fridge it goes for another 20 minutes to set.
Carefully spread the reserved vanilla fudge mixture over the custard. While this chills for a bit, we’ll move on to the chocolate layer! Just like before, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the other can of sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove it from heat, stir in the vanilla extract, and then evenly spread this chocolate delight over the top of your layered fudge.
Now, patience is key! Allow the fudge to chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours—or better yet, overnight—until it’s completely set. When it’s finally ready, use the parchment paper to lift it out of the pan, slice it into squares, and get ready to enjoy every bite!
