Egg Rolls: 3 Ways to Roll with It
Crispy Egg Roll Trio: Classic, Cheesy, and Sweet
#1 – Classic Chicken & Veggie Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrots
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
12 egg roll wrappers
Vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
In a bowl, mix chicken, cabbage, carrots, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger.
Lay a wrapper with a corner pointing at you. Add 2 tbsp of filling. Fold bottom up, fold sides in, then roll tightly. Seal with water.
Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry egg rolls until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cooking Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes

#2 – Cheesy Pizza Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni or turkey pepperoni
1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
12 egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Directions:
In a bowl, mix mozzarella, pepperoni, and pizza sauce.
Spoon mixture onto each wrapper, roll and seal.
Fry at 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes until golden. Serve with warm marinara.

#3 – Sweet Apple Pie Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
2 cups peeled and diced apples
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
12 egg roll wrappers
Oil for frying
Powdered sugar or caramel sauce for topping
Directions:
Sauté apples in butter, sugar, and cinnamon for 5 minutes until soft. Cool slightly.
Fill and roll each wrapper with 2 tbsp of filling. Seal with water.
Fry until golden and crispy. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with caramel.
