Crispy Buttered Ranch Chicken
Ingredients:
- 2 large chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. In a large bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
3. In another bowl, pour the melted butter, then add the ranch seasoning mix. Stir until fully mixed.
4. Dip each chicken strip into the ranch butter mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until well covered. Place the coated strips on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy. Use a meat thermometer to check that the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
6. Once ready, remove from the oven and let the chicken strips cool slightly before serving.
