Crispy Parmesan Artichoke Hearts
Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) quartered artichoke hearts, drained
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
Directions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Artichokes:
Drain the canned artichoke hearts and place them in a bowl.
Gently pat the artichokes dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This step ensures they become crispy when baked.
Mix the Coatings:
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and garlic powder.
In a separate bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
Coat the Artichokes:
Dip each artichoke heart into the butter and garlic mixture, ensuring it's fully coated.
Roll the artichoke heart in the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture until well-coated.
Place the coated artichokes on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer for even baking.
Bake:
Bake the artichoke hearts in the preheated oven for about 18 minutes.
Halfway through baking, turn each artichoke piece carefully to promote even browning.
Remove from the oven when they are golden and crispy.
Serve:
Allow the artichokes to cool slightly before transferring them to a serving dish.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as aioli, ranch, or marinara, or enjoy them on their own as a crunchy, cheesy snack.
