๐ซ๐ฅง Brownie Pecan Pie ๐ฏ๐ฐ
a rich, fudgy brownie base topped with classic pecan pie filling โ the ultimate dessert mashup for chocolate and nut lovers!
๐ฒIngredients:
*For the crust:*
โ 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or chocolate cookie crumbs)
โ 1/3 cup melted butter
โ 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
*For the brownie layer:*
โ 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
โ 1 cup granulated sugar
โ 2 large eggs
โ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
โ 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
โ 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
โ 1/4 teaspoon salt
*For the pecan topping:*
โ 1/2 cup light corn syrup
โ 1/2 cup brown sugar
โ 2 large eggs
โ 1 tablespoon melted butter
โ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
โ 1 cup pecan halves
๐Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or tart pan.
Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into the bottom of the dish to form the crust. Bake for 8 minutes, then set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Remove from heat, stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until smooth. Pour over the crust.
Bake for 15โ18 minutes, or until just set in the center. Meanwhile, prepare the pecan topping.
In a bowl, whisk corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in pecans.
Carefully pour pecan mixture over the partially baked brownie layer. Return to oven and bake an additional 25โ30 minutes, until the top is golden and set.
Cool completely before slicing. Serve with chocolate drizzle or whipped cream if desired!
