**Serves:** 2
**Prep time:** 15 minutes
**Cook time:** 20 minutes
**Ingredients:**
2 (4-6 oz) beef steaks (sirloin or tenderloin work well)
* 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
* 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (low sodium preferred)
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tbsp butter
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1/2 cup cooked pasta (fettuccine or linguine recommended)
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
**Instructions:**
**Season the steak:** Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Season generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
2. **Sear the steak:** Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove from skillet and let rest.
3. **Cook the shrimp:** In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
4. **Make the Alfredo sauce:** Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. **Combine and serve:** Add the cooked pasta to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Slice the rested steak and add it to the pasta along with the shrimp. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
