🧆 Mini Doughnut Falafel — Mediterranean Classic with a Twist!
My kids call them “mini doughnuts” — but they’re actually crunchy, golden falafel bites full of love, spice, and tradition! ✨💛

👩🏽‍🍳 How to Make Ground Chickpeas (Base):
• Soak dry chickpeas overnight.
• Drain and blend in a food processor with:
🌿 Fresh parsley
🧄 Garlic
💧 A splash of water to soften



📌 Ingredients for Falafel Mix:
• Ground chickpea mixture
• 1/4 tsp baking powder
• Salt, cumin, fennel powder
• Sesame seeds
• A squeeze of lemon for crunch
• Optional: pinch of chili flakes for heat
• Avocado or olive oil for frying



🌀 How to Shape:
Form into doughnut-style rounds with a finger hole (kids love this part!). Coat in sesame seeds before frying.

🔥 Fry Tip:
Fry on medium heat to cook the inside fully while achieving a golden crispy outside. Drain on paper towels.



🌿 To Serve:
Pair with olives, lemon slices, and fresh parsley. Serve in pita, tortilla, or simply enjoy on a platter.
