Oh my gosh, you guys have to try these Fried Cheesecake Bites! 🤤🧀
They taste just like the ones from the state fair, but way easier to make at home. Crispy on the outside and warm, melty cheesecake on the inside.
**Ingredients**
* 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated flaky biscuits
* 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
* 1/4 cup granulated sugar
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
* Vegetable oil (for frying)
* Powdered sugar (for dusting)
**Instructions**
1. Mix the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
2. Separate the biscuits and carefully peel each one in half layers so you have thin rounds.
3. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mix in the center of a biscuit round.
4. Fold the dough over and pinch the edges tightly to seal it shut (don't let the filling leak!).
5. Heat about an inch of oil in a pan to 350°F.
6. Fry the bites for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
7. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot.
