Joseph Giamarese and Vivian Hung, founders and principal designers of Global Home, are a married globetrotting duo whose world-wide journeys have inspired their aesthetic and business acumen. What started as a twenty-two month expedition around the world, grew into Global Home. Founded in 2003, Global Home is a brand which has encompassed several home furnishing stores, an online retail property,

and an acclaimed Interior Design firm featured in many domestic and international publications such as the New York Times, Aspire Home and Design, New York Spaces, Decorations Singapore, Remodelista and many others. Joseph and Vivian were also featured on a segment of NBC Open House TV. MISSION: They design, manage and execute beautiful thrilling interior spaces for the discerning client and curate an online marketplace where our creative vision is globally accessible to every customer. VISION: They distill the magic of design into a service that envisions, manages and implements projects; delivering beautiful spaces and products that not only answers our clients' needs but also thrills their hearts through their services and product curation. Globally inspired- As a couple, they have circled the world multiple times in search of new friendships, experiences, and ideas. Along the way they have not only found sources for exciting interiors, but also developed an eye for how to bring aesthetics from different cultures together. Curated, Not Designed- Global Home takes an individual approach to each project, listening intently to the requirements of each client, understanding how they live and how their space is used. Joseph and Vivian prefer the final product to feel organically assembled over time rather than “designed”. Global Home’s philosophy is to bring together different and distinct elements to give you a home like no other. Renovation update! 🚧 Our Greenwich Village project is taking shape. We're obsessing over the black and white marble floor and natural travertine shower tile for an Italian Deco glamour vibe. Next up: wallpaper, plumbing fixtures, and all the finishing touches!

AFTER/BEFORE:
This wall in a Financial District project was just not living up to its full potential.
🌟 Global Home Interiors to the rescue! We are pros in designing solutions for space dilemmas!

We designed custom storage, shelving and a 'stone' mantel around the fireplace to dress it up. The mirrored walls add more glamour to take it up the luxurious notch.

FIXED IT! Much needed glow-up in this mid-century rambler’s primary bedroom suite. Replaced the overscaled and out of place bed with a set up more suited to the environment. Added wall to wall, floor to ceiling drapes, sound absorbing headboard panels, and natural wallpaper for a cocoon effect. The floating fireplace is the 🍒 on top.
