Steakhouse Seafood Spinach Rockefeller Bake
Ingredients (Serves 4)
Seafood
• 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (no tails)
• 1/2 cup premium lump crab meat
The Base
• 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
• 1 small onion, finely diced
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed very dry
The Creamy Sauce
• 4 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Seasoning
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1/4 tsp paprika
The Golden Topping
• 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat & Prep: Heat your oven to 375°F. Pat your shrimp very dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2️⃣ The Gentle Sear: Place a stainless steel skillet on a gas burner over medium heat. Melt 1 tbsp of butter and sear the shrimp for 45 seconds per side until lightly pink. Remove immediately and set aside.
3️⃣ Build the Aromatics: In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes until soft, then stir in the garlic for 30 seconds.
4️⃣ Wilt the Spinach: Add the dry spinach to the skillet. Stir for 2 minutes until it’s warm and any remaining moisture has evaporated.
5️⃣ The PrimeSea Sauce: Lower heat to medium-low. Add the cream cheese, stirring until melted. Gently pour in the heavy cream, mozzarella, and 1/4 cup Parmesan. Add garlic and onion powder. Stir slowly until the sauce is thick, glossy, and perfectly spoon-coating.
6️⃣ The Fold: Turn off the heat. Gently fold in the lump crab meat to keep the pieces intact.
7️⃣ Assemble: Transfer the creamy mixture to a baking dish. Arrange the seared shrimp in a natural C-shape over the top.
8️⃣ The Crust & Bake: Melt the remaining 1 tbsp of butter and mix with panko and the rest of the Parmesan. Sprinkle evenly over the dish. Using thermal kitchen gloves, place the dish in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes, then broil for 1 minute until the top is golden.
Soft, creamy, and gently golden… the kind of dinner that feels calm and a little special.
