The total baking time is 18 to 20 minutes. The sausage is cooked on the stove top prior to mixing in the batter.

How do I store these muffins?

These muffins can sit on the counter for a short amount of time. However it is best to keep these muffins in the refrigerator, in a tightly covered container or wrapped tightly with plastic. You can store the muffins for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator.

Can these muffins be frozen?

You can wrap these tightly wrapped, or placed into a freezer safe container. They will last for up to 3 months in the freezer.

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Salisbury Steak has a long history of being an economical meal that still manages to feel indulgent. (Not to mention super comforting too!) It’s an easy enough stovetop meal to throw together, but sometimes the crockpot makes things even easier. That’s the case with this Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

1 (1 oz) packet onion soup mix
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Amish Hamburger Steak Bake
Isn’t there just something magical about an old-school, hearty dinner when the weather turns crisp? Honestly, when the temperature drops and the days get all gray and drizzly, I crave meals that just wrap you up like a favorite old quilt. I’ll confess—some of my happiest memories are wrapped up with meat-and-potatoes dinners on chilly evenings, the kind you couldn’t wait to dig into after a long, busy day.
That’s exactly why this Amish Hamburger Steak Bake absolutely stole my heart. It’s simple enough for a Wednesday but special enough for company, and every time I make it, it feels nostalgic, inviting, and (let’s just be honest) totally crave-worthy. It’s got that no-fail, cozy factor that keeps you coming back—you know, the way you sneak bites straight from the pan when nobody’s looking? Or is that just me?
Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 cups saltine crackers crumbled
1 cup milk for beef mixture
1 tsp Italian herbs
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
cayenne pepper dash, optional
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounces
1 cup milk for gravy
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled saltine crackers, 1 cup of milk, Italian herbs, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (optional), salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Form the beef mixture into 1/2-inch-thick patties. This recipe should make about 8 evenly-sized steaks.
Lightly coat each steak in flour, tapping off any excess.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, adding a bit of oil if needed. Brown the steaks on each side until they develop a golden crust, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Place the browned steaks in the greased baking dish, arranging them in a single layer.
In a bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of mushroom soup and the remaining cup of milk until smooth. Pour the gravy evenly over the steaks.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the gravy is bubbling and the steaks are fully cooked through.
Let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve the hamburger steaks hot with mashed potatoes or over rice.
Notes
This recipe is perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.

No bake Chocolate Eclair Cake
No Bake Eclair Cake is the perfect dessert to whip up in a snap and serve for any occasion. Rich vanilla pudding mixed with whipped cream and layered between graham crackers then topped with sweet chocolate frosting, everyone will enjoy this easy icebox cake!
Chocolate Eclair Cake is a great way to go. It is best served the first or second day, after being refrigerated for a few hours. I sometimes like to freeze it for an hour before serving for an even firmer texture. I love it!

Ingredients:
2 (3.5 oz) package of instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (8 oz) container of whipped topping (COOL WHIP) thawed
3 cups milk
2 sleeves graham cracker squares
1 (16 oz) tub chocolate frosting
How To Make No bake Chocolate Eclair Cake:
In a medium bowl, mix together the pudding mix, milk and Cool Whip.
In an 9 x 13 baking dish, arrange a single layer of graham cracker squares on the bottom. You may have to break them up a bit to get enough crackers to cover the bottom of your dish.

Spread half of the pudding mixture on top of the crackers.
Layer another layer of graham crackers over the pudding mixture.
Then layer the other half of the pudding mixture on top of crackers.
Top with a final layer of graham crackers.
Put plastic wrap over dish and put in fridge for about 30 min to an hour to allow pudding to set.

When ready, put the tub of chocolate frosting in the microwave for about 15 seconds to soften (remove lid and aluminum foil top before microwaving).
Take out and stir frosting. It should be easily spreadable now.
Remove plastic wrap from dish and evenly spread chocolate frosting all over the top layer of graham crackers.

Place plastic wrap over top of dish and put back in fridge and let it chill overnight.
This dessert gets better over time. The graham crackers need plenty of time to soften up.
When ready, slice and serve!
