Decca + Decca design studio is an interior and furniture design studio located in New York City that specializes in residential and small commercial spaces. Offering highly personalized services, Decca + Decca’s customer-oriented approach takes all aspects of its clients’ lifestyle into consideration when developing projects. This ensures objectives are met and deliverables are completed on time and within budget without compromising the creative approach. Veronica Tutundjian Decca is the founder and head designer of the studio. She grew up in a world with interior design at the forefront. Her mother, Adriana Tutundjian, is an accomplished interior and furniture designer in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Veronica gravitates towards a warm contemporary style. She designs clean, sophisticated spaces that are also practical and comfortable for day to day living. She is an Interior Design graduate from Parsons, the New School for Design, and has worked in the past both as a freelancer and with interior design firms. Previously she worked many years as a marketing manager for a leading Cosmetics company. Her extensive work experience in both fields lends itself to strike the perfect balance between a creative and efficient approach. Credentials and Awards:

For the Olive Grove House project, the curation centers around warm browns, deep greens inspired by coastal

Mediterranean homes do not need to be erased to feel current.
The best details are often already there: textured walls, arches, stone, shadow, and cozy rooms.
The key is to keep what gives the home character, then rebalance what feels too heavy or dated. Less dark wood.
Less excessive detail. More soft whites, natural oak, warm stone, olive greens, and California light.
That is how Mediterranean becomes elevated, not generic.

California has plenty of sun. The goal is not maximum brightness, it is comfortable, protected light. Mediterranean inspired homes were built for bright climates, using smaller openings, depth, and shaded transitions to soften glare and reduce heat. It is calmer to live in and it protects your floors, rugs, art, and upholstery from fading. If your home feels harsh or washed out, the solution is usually better light management, not more windows.
