From now until forever, UNLESS we have discussed the situation; payment is REQUIRED before I ever put a paintbrush on an order.

NO EXCEPTIONS.

This post is going to be blunt, and totally honest.

I started this whole painting business 8 years ago, when I was just getting back into painting. When I was pregnant with my oldest, I had the thought of making something of myself so I never had to go back to work after maternity leave.

I have spent COUNTLESS hours trying to make my pricing affordable, and slowly increase as my skill has increased over the years.

The thing I struggled with (and still do) is charging people for something I LOVE to do.

That being said….

My skill does NOT come without a price of some sort. I make ABSOLUTELY sure that anyone requesting a PERSONALIZED order is satisfied with any details prior to making your piece, and I even take the extra time to send progress updates to ensure there’s no extra changes or missed details.

That type of work comes with a price.

I have been shafted one too many times, with people ASSUMING my hard work is free, or being ghosted after a couple of reminders for payment. ESPECIALLY after a mock up is approved and price is discussed.

I’m also human, I understand life happens. Nobody should ever be embarrassed to tell me that something came up and we can discuss payment plans. Seriously, I would RATHER you tell me than just ignore/block me. 🫠

I WILL NO LONGER START ORDERS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR PRIOR TO MAKING.

My heart hurts, and I hope you all understand how seriously I take this business.

It is my therapy, and it makes me so happy to create something for your special occasion.

If payment is not made or communication is cut off with no warning, I will fire you as a customer 🖤
