Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Rolls 🍫🌀
Ingredients:
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour 🌾
- ¼ cup granulated sugar 🍚
- 1 teaspoon salt 🧂
- 1 package instant yeast 🍞
- ½ cup milk 🥛
- ¼ cup water 💧
- ¼ cup unsalted butter 🧈
- 1 large egg 🥚
- ¾ cup chocolate chips 🍫
- ½ cup brown sugar 🧁
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 🌀
Preparation Steps:
1. In a large bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
2. Heat milk, water, and butter until warm (120-130°F). Add to flour mixture along with egg. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to high speed for 3 minutes.
3. Stir in chocolate chips and enough remaining flour to form a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
4. Cover and let dough rest for 10 minutes. Roll out into a 14x9-inch rectangle.
5. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over dough, then roll it up jelly-roll style.
6. Cut into 12 slices, place in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 30-45 minutes).
7. Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
