The penguins are the reason I made this mug. My family’s cupboard helped me choose which mug to use.

We’ve collected plenty of printed mugs over the years. The ORCA-coated ones are the ones that have kept their color and finish beautifully through use, and that experience stayed with me when choosing a ceramic mug for my artwork.

The Waddle in Coral Skates has that coating to help resist fading, and it’s Dishwasher + Microwave Safe. Those are quiet practical details, but they matter when you hope something will become a familiar part of someone’s day.

Here are the penguins, with a little cocoa and winter light:

The leash lives by the door. The keys are usually somewhere nearby. And the dog has already noticed that a walk might be happening.

Settle began as my painting of another familiar moment: a black Labrador resting in a quiet room, entirely at home. I’ve brought that scene to a small hardcover journal for the notes, plans, and recollections that gather around everyday life.

It’s 5 × 7 inches, with 128 ruled pages and a matte cover. Keep the artwork as it is, or add a name or short phrase for $5—a thoughtful detail if you’re choosing it for a fellow dog lover.

Who has walked beside you this year?

Redheads Walking in Snow began with a simple winter scene: a red-haired figure and russet-colored dog following the same snowy path beneath golden trees. For me, it became a painting about companionship—the comfort of a familiar presence and the quiet ways we keep pace with one another.

Reproduced from my original artwork, each 5 × 7 folded holiday card can be left blank, finished with an illustrated seasonal greeting, or personalized with your own message, closing, colors, and font. White envelopes are included, with sets available from 5 to 100. And matching envelope seals are available in the shop.

A Christmas, New Year’s, or winter greeting for the people who have traveled through the year with you.

Some of the nicest things to find in the mailbox arrive in December: familiar handwriting, news from a friend, a card someone took time to choose.

Glad Tidings is my new flat holiday card, featuring an original oil painting of a gold ornament, ivory ribbon, and winter greenery. Its dark background gives the small gathering of objects a warm, classical still-life presence.

The 5x7 cards come with white envelopes, in sets of 5, 10, 25, 50, or 100. Choose the seasonal greeting shown, make the message your own, or leave room for a handwritten note.

If two cats went sledding together, which one would demand more speed—and which one would immediately regret the arrangement?

Lyla and Charles have committed to the adventure in knitted hats and one bright orange sled. Their winter expedition became an original painting and, now, a holiday card for people who appreciate cats, color, and a little seasonal mischief.

Each 5 × 7 folded card can be left blank, finished with an illustrated greeting—including “Wishing You a Season of Wheeeeeeee!”—or personalized with your own message, closing, colors, and font. White envelopes are included, with sets available from 5 to 100. And matching envelope seals are available in the shop.

At the end of a working year, there are people worth thanking: clients who have placed their trust in you, colleagues who have helped things along, and relationships you’re glad to carry into another year.

Winter Bloom & Laurel offers a place for those words. My original floral ornament artwork appears on the cover; inside, the message and closing can be personalized with your text, font choices, and colors.

Whether you’re sending 25 cards from an independent practice or preparing a mailing of 100 or more, there’s room for a greeting that sounds like you.

The cards are 5×7, folded, professionally printed to order, and supplied with white envelopes. Sets of 25, 50, and 100 are available; larger quantities can be arranged through the shop.

A recent buyer praised the “quick turn-around time, even with a custom message and a proof review.” For a larger mailing, message me with your quantity and intended mailing date so we can plan around current production and delivery estimates.

There’s a new bear in Barky and Bookish.

Poley is my illustration of a much-loved stuffed polar bear, now on a unisex fleece sweatshirt. Her long nose, sloping back, and stitched paws give her the familiar look of a companion who has been around for years.

She comes in six colors and sizes S–3XL, ready for chilly mornings, winter outings, and evenings at home. You can see all the colors and find the size guide here:

Does your cat participate in holiday preparations—or simply supervise them?

Olive has chosen the second approach. Reclining on a coral sofa in a richly layered green room, she brings the particular composure of a cat who assumes the cards will be written, the envelopes addressed, and the season arranged to her satisfaction.

Reproduced from my original artwork, each 5 × 7 folded card can be left blank, finished with an illustrated seasonal greeting, or personalized with your own message, closing, colors, and font. White envelopes are included, with sets available from 5 to 100.

A colorful holiday greeting for cat lovers and anyone who appreciates a celebration with personality.

For the friend, sibling, partner, or grown-up child whose sense of humor you know by heart.

The Got Too Silly Goose Mug is a small, useful gift with a wonderfully unserious story—and the packaging is part of the pleasure.

Clear cellophane, brown twine, a branded kraft box, and a note from my studio are included with each mug.

Something cheerful for a birthday, the holidays, or a day that could use a little silliness.

Some gifts find their place in the ordinary parts of a day: a first cup of coffee, a pause in the afternoon, something warm after coming in from the cold.

That’s what I hope for The Waddle in Coral Skates. Four penguins from my original artwork, printed around a white ceramic mug in pale celadon, ivory, and coral.

Each one comes in a kraft box with protective crinkle paper, a clear sleeve tied with twine, and a note from my studio. A little care around something meant to be used.

You’ll find it in the Barky and Bookish Holiday Collection:
