The Owl’s Nest is a page where you can purchase vintage items that have been adopted, doctored up, and made beautiful once again. We search high and low for unique, quirky items so you can showcase that perfect statement piece (you know, the one no one else has) in your nest! Not only do we make these beautiful finds available to you, we also take in your beloved pieces that may need a li
ttle TLC and doctor them up for you. Megan and Mandy have always had a knack for anything artsy especially when it comes to decorating their homes. It was this very thing that brought them together. They have spent countless hours crafting, painting, laughing, and even crying together building a friendship like no other. This friendship has developed over the years and now they are inseparable. This dynamic duo spent their days operating as wives, mothers, full-time employees, and college students, but they still felt something was missing (like they needed to add something to their schedules). They wanted to carry their love of decorating over into their daily lives and so the Owl’s Nest was created. They are operating out of their garages on the weekends, usually between the kids’ sporting events. They are busy women on a mission to do what they love and love what they do. Megan is a little bit of an old soul that loves anything vintage, especially if it came from a barn or it belongs on a beach. She grew up in a small Indiana town and would prefer to be in the country over the city any day…unless that city has a beach. Tranquility, subtle hints of color, and old chipping paint are on her list of priorities when decorating. Mandy on the other hand loves anything mid-century or with a little bit of quirkiness. She is all about peace, love, and happiness (yes, she is a little bit of a hippie). She is proud to be born and raised in Evansville, but loves her beach visits too. Vibrant, bold colors and unique style are among Mandy’s decorating must haves. When you put the two of their minds together, you never know what you are going to get, kind of like a box of chocolates, (yes cheesy, but I couldn’t help myself). They are always up for a challenge and are don’t mind getting dirty….in fact, they love it! Together, they have a little bit of an eclectic collection, but that just means they have something for everyone. They are confident you are going to love their work! If you find something you just have to have, comment on the picture or send The Owl’s Nest a private message. Don’t forget items are unique and usually only one will be available. Items cannot be held without payment. Cash, PayPal, and credit cards (add a 4% fee) are accepted. You must be able to pick items up in Newburgh or Evansville, Indiana.
