A few months ago, I injured my foot and suddenly found myself spending far more time sitting than I wanted to.

What I didn't expect was how much I would come to enjoy those slower moments.

Over the weeks, my porch became the place where I read more books, watched geese raise their goslings, listened to bullfrogs in the evening, and noticed things I had been rushing past for years.

I wrote this week’s Soft Slow Living post after an injury forced me to slow down more than I wanted to.

It’s about the strange discomfort of doing nothing — and how quiet time can make us notice things we usually miss.

For me, that meant more reading, more creativity, and more time on the porch watching a heron, listening to bullfrogs, and seeing goslings grow a little bigger each week.

Naturing Relaxation is ready for its next chapter.

I’ve been working on growing the business beyond Etsy, building up my website, and preparing for future in-person events so customers can shop Naturing Relaxation in a more personal way.
