Summer is nearing its end but the sunshine and the heat have been enjoying their stay 🌤️🏖️. This summer I spent more time inside (maybe due to the excessive temperatures) and less time on social media. I decided I wanted to make a doll in my spare time to add to my collection. Enter, Nelly Doll. This was such a fun project. I’ve never worked with wire before. She is posable as you can see, with her holding her cool summer beverage. 😎 All of her accessories were so fun to crochet. She has sandals, sunglasses, a swimsuit, purse, unicorn pool floaty, drink, bandana, sun hat, and a nice summer dress. Nelly was a great summer project. I am sad to see it come to an end. What’s in store for fall? 🤔🤫

So excited to share a miniature version of Nimbus!! Nimbus is an albino sea turtle at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. He has gotten so big since I first met him. He is one unique turtle! Thank you for being such a great model Nimbus!

Hey that’s me!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I have amazing news, Ocean Spray Crochet is headed to a Cafe!! Which one? Kidz at Play Family Cafe in downtown Morehead City. I couldn’t be more excited to have another location to share my passion with the world.
