Recently I was given a wedding dress, that was worn by Grandma in 1957. I was asked to make two teddy bears and two pocket squares from the dress. I'll never be completely comfortable taking my shears to a wedding dress, but I'm pleased with the products and the customer is thrilled. 💕

Today, September 21, is World Alzheimer’s Day.Having lost my own mom to dementia, I know firsthand how hard it is to watch the decline. I made this donation for a local memory care facility, to help them with their fundraising goals to support the Alzheimer’s organization.
Let’s hope a cure is coming soon.

She brought her baby girl home from the hospital in this years and years ago… And now that same baby outfit has been turned into a teddy bear for her daughter’s own baby girl. 🥹 So sentimental!! And the fabric was beautiful to work with after all these years of saving it.
