Know Niason

My name is Nia Jones and I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. I have always had a creative mindset since the day I could pick up a pencil. In April of 2016 I made the decision to serve my county in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Member (Military Cop.) As my elistment went by I needed an outlet and dove into my art as a form of zen to get me through everything. What started as a hobby end up becoming one of my businesses. In March of 2019 I medically retired from the military due to being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis among other things. I quickly realized I didn’t want to be a nuisance to others when I was applying for jobs, which led me to invest in myself and my Art. While the illness affects my my entire body, the one thing that gets me through each day is having the freedom and God given talent to create beautiful things for others.
