I loved my stay at Amanda’s! The space was great for me and my 2 family members! The view of the beach in the morning was amazing! Also I love to cook and was able to cook Christmas dinner. They had every kitchen utensil available! Will stay again if I'm ever in town! 10/10 recommend.

6 Great Places to Live in Murrells Inlet, SC | 🔦Follow the link below to read the full blog

If you're considering a move to Murrells Inlet, one of the biggest questions is: Where should I actually live?

🥇 1. Prince Creek — best overall

Prince Creek is probably where I'd start if you want a really nice place to live rather than a vacation-oriented neighborhood. It's a large master-planned area with multiple individual communities, so you get everything from more affordable homes to upscale gated properties.

🥈 2. Wachesaw Plantation — best upscale/Lowcountry feel

Wachesaw Plantation is one of the communities I'd put at the top if someone told me, "I want beautiful, established, upscale Murrells Inlet." It's gated, has mature landscaping, larger homesites and a distinctly Lowcountry atmosphere around the river/marsh environment.

🥉 3. Bays of Prince Creek — best combination of nice + practical

For a buyer who wants a nice neighborhood without necessarily jumping into $1M+ homes, I'd definitely look here. It's gated and has a more polished, planned-community feel, while still being close to the restaurants, shopping and coastal attractions that make Murrells Inlet desirable.

💰 4. Wachesaw Plantation East — best value

This is one I would really pay attention to if you're looking at real estate from an investment/value perspective. The homes and condos can be substantially less expensive than Wachesaw Plantation proper. Realtor.com currently shows a median listing price around $265K, versus roughly $553K for Wachesaw Plantation.

🌴 5. Salters Cove — best for beach lifestyle

Salters Cove is particularly interesting if you want to be closer to the beach and have that golf-cart/beach-town lifestyle. This would be higher on my list for someone who says, "I don't necessarily need a huge house. I want to be close to the beach and actually enjoy where I live."

🏡 6. Collins Creek Landing — best luxury/privacy

Collins Creek Landing is a gated custom-home community in the Prince Creek area with larger, wooded homesites and a much more private feel.

🔨 Seller Tip: Don't Let Small Problems Become Big Objections
That dripping faucet, loose doorknob, or chipped paint may seem minor, but buyers often notice the little things.

When buyers see several small maintenance issues, they may wonder what larger problems could be hiding beneath the surface.

Taking care of simple repairs before listing can help create confidence and keep buyers focused on the positives.

🛠️ Buyer Tip: A Home Inspection Is One of Your Best Investments

Even homes that look perfect can have hidden issues.

A professional home inspection can uncover maintenance concerns, safety issues, or repairs that aren't obvious during a showing. It also gives you a better understanding of the home's condition before closing.

An inspection isn't just about finding problems—it's about making an informed decision with confidence.

Bravo Fans!!! New street sign in Carolina Forest...do you see what I see? 🔎 💃🏼 🤣

Technically, the "H" and "O" would be flipped, but if you watch Bravo as much as I do, it doesn't matter. You see it immediately! I actually pass it every day, and the first time I saw it I thought it was hilarious and tried to imagine what it would be like if all the streets followed suit.

As far as what it really means...🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️

The #1 question I get asked as a Realtor is, “Is it a buyer’s or seller’s market?” And just as often, people are generally referring to the U.S. market as a whole.

The truth is, real estate isn’t quite that simple. While major events like the 2008 housing crash and the 2020 boom affected the entire country, every market—and even every neighborhood—can tell a different story. When you’re actually buying or selling, what matters most is understanding the market where you’re looking to buy or where you’re selling, along with your price range and property type.

Carolina Forest, a sub-community of Myrtle Beach, is a prime example of why national stats don’t apply. There are not nearly as many other states or locations that experienced the “New Construction Boom or Takeover”. It’s obvious to anyone that this would change the local real estate market as a whole, but what are the specifics, and what does that mean for the current buyer/seller market?

The #1 question I get asked as a Realtor is, “Is it a buyer’s or seller’s market?” And just as often, people are generally referring to the U.S.
