You’re probably thinking about fall decorating backwards.

We spend a lot of time deciding what one is supposed to look like when the better question is: what do you actually want to come home to?

Maybe it’s a huge pile of pumpkins because seeing them when you pull in makes you happy. Maybe it’s something cleaner and quieter. Maybe it’s every weird gourd, stripe, wart and color we can find.

Your porch gets to feel like you.

It’s the first thing people see and the last thing you walk past. It might as well feel like yours.

Consider this your invitation to the Club.

We’re so excited to officially introduce Pumpkin Social Club: New England Chapter, a little collection of clothing and accessories made for people who are just as fall obsessed as we are.

You know who you are. First in line at your favorite local coffee shop when the fall flavors hit. Wandering the aisles of TJ Maxx with an iced coffee and your bestie. Planning family weekends around apple orchards, pumpkin festivals and sunflower festivals. Cool evenings around the outdoor fire pit sharing stories. Any excuse to throw on a sweatshirt and call it fall.

And, of course, we had to make it the New England Chapter. We might be biased, but fall in New England is elite. Crisp mornings. Changing leaves. Little downtowns. Farm stands. C***r donuts. Pumpkin patches. Sweater weather. There’s nowhere else quite like getting to call New England home in the fall, and we wanted to celebrate all of it.

So we created a small collection inspired by the season we love most, with a little The Charmed Porch tucked into it too. It’s technically our merch… but really, it’s for all of us who make fall an entire personality.

Something I think about a lot as we go into our third year of designing porches and storefronts.

I don’t want someone to drive by your house and immediately think, “oh, she hired a decorating company.”

I want them to think, “wow, she has really good taste.”

Or, “okayyyy that front door looks amazing.”

You should get the compliment. You’re the one who knew how you wanted it to feel, and who cared enough to decide it was worth doing beautifully in the first place.

We just happen to be your porch people.
