What people think interior design is: picking pretty pillows.

What it actually is: me in the back of a pickup truck protecting a fig tree so it arrives safely to my client’s house. 🌿

The tree wouldn’t fit in my SUV, and there was no way I was risking damage after finally finding the perfect one for the space.

Sometimes design means sourcing, planning, styling…
and sometimes it means riding in a truck with a tree.

M Streets, Dallas — Piano Room Transformation 🎹

This space started as an underutilized formal room with no clear identity. The goal? Create a dramatic, art-forward piano room that felt collected, soulful, and intentional.

We layered:
• A statement chandelier
• Rich jewel-toned seating
• Gallery-style artwork
• Warm brass accents
• Soft drapery to balance acoustics and light

The result is a room that feels intimate, elevated, and worthy of the music it holds.

Design is about more than furniture — it’s about creating atmosphere.

These photos were taken while I was working in the flooring industry- and while I was pregnant with my daughter, Summer.

Even then, I was immersed in materials, finishes and the foundation of good design. Every role, every season, added another layer to how I see spaces today.

Experience doesn’t always look loud - sometimes it’s quietly built over time.

One of my greatest strengths as a designer is mapping out the vision before anything is ever purchased or moved.

Design isn’t just about selecting beautiful pieces - it’s about seeing the full picture, understanding how each space connects, and helping clients visualize how their home will function and feel when it’s complete.

These presentations allow me to clearly communicate the plan, explore options, and create alignment before ex*****on begins. When clients can see the vision, the process becomes calmer, more confident, and far more inttentional.
