You don’t have to walk into a project with every detail figured out. In fact, most people don’t—and you don’t need a blank slate or a fully formed vision to get started.

This is where things really begin. You bring the pieces you already have: thoughts, inspiration images, a fabric you keep coming back to, a room that isn’t working the way you want it to. Then, we start connecting the dots. My role is to take all of that and shape it into something that feels cohesive, functional, and true to how you live.

From there, we look at how the space should actually work day to day and build a plan that supports both form and function without overcomplicating the process.

If you’re thinking about a project, I’d love to talk it through with you. Complimentary phone consultation: 203-536-0712

That piece of art you love shouldn’t be the last thing you consider; it should be the centerpiece you design around. Art can ground a space. It tells a story, sets the tone, and can give the rest of the room a sense of direction.

When a client has a piece they’re connected to—something collected over time, inherited, or simply loved—it becomes the anchor for the entire design, not an afterthought. From there, every decision starts to fall into place in a way that feels intentional and personal.

I look at how the artwork's colors, scale, and style can guide the room without overwhelming it. Then we build layers around it—pulling in textures, finishes, and fabrics that complement the piece without trying to match it exactly. The goal is always to create a space where the artwork feels like it belongs, not like it was added at the end.

Not sure how to make that work in your home? That’s where I come in — 203-536-0712.

Inspired by that “easy” home upgrade you saw on TV, only to find yourself surrounded by mess and an unfinished project? You’re not alone!

Call me before you demolish your way into a home design conundrum.

Hiring a designer isn’t about adding unnecessary cost — it’s about avoiding the “we have to redo this” moment. Because let’s be honest… most DIY projects don’t start that way. They start with good intentions and ambition, but not enough knowledge and planning.

Here’s where working with a designer pays off:
• 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 — One wrong cabinet order or tile choice (with a vendor you have no relationship with) can blow a budget quicker than you think. Getting it right the first time matters.
• 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 — Trade resources, vetted vendors, and pricing most homeowners never see. Those advantages compound.
• 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 — There are a lot of moving parts. I keep things on track, solve problems before they escalate, and make sure the details don’t get missed.

Support from an interior designer is about making smart, informed decisions from the start. A well-planned project doesn’t just look better — it ends up efficient and cost-effective.

Bar cabinetry should feel like a destination — not just storage. When it’s done well, it brings a sense of mood, intention, and sophistication to the entire home. The right combination of cabinetry, finish, lighting, and detail can turn a simple bar into one of the most striking spaces in the house.

Here’s what makes a bar area feel truly elevated:
𝗜𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗶𝗻, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻. The best bar spaces feel planned from the start.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Rich wood, deep color, and layered texture create depth and drama. High-gloss manufactured materials, lighter wood, and unique stones can also vary the style.

𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗱. A bar should feel inviting (and bartenders need light!), with light that highlights the cabinetry and creates atmosphere.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. Hardware, shelving, display, and proportions all work together to make the space feel finished.

If you’re ready to turn a simple bar into one of the most memorable spaces in your home, I’d love to talk. Call me for a complimentary 30-minute consultation: 203-536-0712.

Moving into a new home is exciting, but even a beautiful space can feel a little cold or disconnected until you add a few of the right layers. Don’t make hasty choices; embark on a thoughtful, purposeful design journey.

Here’s what I always tell my clients:
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀. Before you worry about styling, make sure the furniture layout supports the way you actually use the room.

𝗣𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲. A room can have beautiful pieces and still feel off if the proportions aren’t right.

𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝘁𝗵. Rugs, drapery, upholstery, and textured accents help soften a space and make it feel more inviting.

𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. The right mix of light sources can completely change the mood of a room, especially in the evening.

𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲. The best spaces aren’t rushed. They’re built over time with pieces that feel intentional, personal, and lived in.

A home should feel calm, cohesive, and comfortable — not just “done”. If your space has good bones but still doesn’t quite feel like you, I can help bring it all together with thoughtful details that make a house feel truly settled.

What’s your style? What’s your vision? Most people who call me don't have it all figured out. And that's perfectly okay. You don't need a Pinterest board with 400 pins. You don't need to know the difference between transitional and contemporary.

You just need to know that something about your space isn't working — or that it could be so much more than it is right now.

Here's all I need from you:
𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 — what's bothering you, what you wish was different
𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — a photo you saved, a room you saw somewhere, a feeling you're chasing
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 — that piece of furniture you'll never part with, the color that makes you happy, the memories you want the space to hold
𝗔 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 – so we can collaborate on a design that makes you happy and comfortable

I translate it all into a space that feels completely and uniquely you.

No blank canvas required. Just a conversation. Ready to start yours? I'd love to hear what you're dreaming about — 203‑536‑0712.

A designer seems like a luxury but you really can't afford NOT to have one. Working with a professional will actually save you money over the span of a project. In my experience:

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 — The wrong cabinets, the wrong layout, the wrong tile, even the wrong paint color — those cost real money to fix. I help you get it right the first time.
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 — I have access to trade pricing and those savings can add up fast.
𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 — Your time is money. From the first conversation to the final install, I navigate the process, troubleshoot the issues and make sure nothing falls through the cracks so you don't have to.

Good design isn't just for “fancy” people. It's a smart investment for your home, your wallet and your peace of mind.

Your kitchen is the hardest working room in your home. It deserves cabinetry that works just as hard — and looks incredible doing it.

I've spent years studying what makes a kitchen truly function, and I'll tell you — it almost always comes down to the cabinets. The right ones don't just store your stuff. They transform the way you cook, entertain and live.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘆 — Need just cabinets? I've got you. Part of a bigger renovation with another designer, architect or builder already in the mix? I work seamlessly alongside them from consultation through installation.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 — Kitchens are all about workflow. I design with your habits in mind so the space actually makes sense for the way YOU cook and live.

𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗲-𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 — Wood, finish, hardware, layout — every single choice is intentional and tailored to your taste and your space

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 — The right cabinet pulls can make a kitchen. I help you nail every last one.

Let's make sure every dollar of cabinetry gives you the best return in space, function and look! Ready to see what's possible? I'd love to talk — call me for a complimentary 30-minute consultation: 203‑536‑0712.
