Before I open up my app, create the first design file in your name or start looking at cabinets and furniture, we’ll invest the time to talk about you.

I want to understand how you live, what matters to you, what you’ve collected along the way and what you want your home to feel like in the years ahead.

That means listening to your priorities, working within your budget, understanding your family’s needs, considering the architecture and character of your space, and finding ways to incorporate the furnishings and pieces you already love.

Does streaming replace seeing a stone, touching a fabric or sitting on a sofa? 𝙉𝙤𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚. Does it mean I don’t come to see your spaces and check in on construction? 𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧! However, the ability to make and share changes on the spot, review online sites together and review items on your timeline improves the end-to-end design process.

Autumn brings a shift.

Earlier sundown and crisper temps mean longer meals, weekend cooking, a pot simmering on the stove and friends gathered around the island. The kitchen naturally gets a little busier..

This is when good kitchen design really earns its keep, regardless of the size of your home.
✨ Make room for the cook. When you're making a pot of chili, baking on a Sunday afternoon, or preparing a holiday meal, having the right amount of workspace—and knowing where everything is—makes all the difference.
✨ Keep the gathering going. Whether watching the game or catching up, comfortable, well-placed seating lets people connect without crowding.
✨ Give serving pieces their moment. Platters, serving bowls, roasting pans, and those things you only pull out when you're feeding a crowd deserve storage that's easy to access when the occasion calls for them. (We love vertical dividers and pull-outs!)

You may not see the problem when you're standing in an empty room or looking at at blueprints. But once construction begins, unplanned changes (moving a wall, changing cabinetry, relocating plumbing, reworking electrical, or needing to send back a mis-sized appliance) can be unwelcome surprises. In the end, the result may be lovely but the process is unnecessarily stressful and overly costly.

That’s where an experienced designer can make a real difference.
–Spot potential problems before they become costly ones.
–Create a plan that considers how everything needs to work together—not just how it looks.
–Coordinate with architects, builders and other professionals so important details don’t fall through the cracks.
–Help you make informed choices and, when possible, take advantage of designer pricing and resources.
–Manage the many moving pieces so you’re not left trying to solve problems on your own.

Good design isn't just about making a space beautiful. It's about thinking ahead, finding the right solutions, and helping you avoid the wrong ones.
