In honor of "Art Deco Week" there is an interesting "Scavenger Hunt" propposed by Pascal Yves Laurent . The challenge is to find things with an "elongated octagon shape" made popular thru the Paris Exposition of `1925.
I found several at ArtDecoCollection.com Here is the first: We are currently featuring a monumental Movie Palace chandelier from 1925 If you look at it straight on, you may not see the shape but look underneath to see the distinct eight sided oval/octagon pattern!
